I am privileged to be a cultural advisor to Youth Pathways.
I come with a wealth of experience, perspective, cultural knowledge and a lifelong passion to protect those who do not have a voice.
My governance experience includes holding office as Secretary for Waikato ki roto Te Waipounamu and Tainui Whanau ki Otautahi.
For 9 years I held the office of Chair for Te Puna Oranga, Otautahi Women’s Refuge, Te Puawaitanga ki Otautahi respectively and Claddagh Haven Trust (15yrs).
I have been a member of the Board of Te Kupenga Mahi Oti Patunga/National Network of Stopping Violence and Nga Hau E Wha Marae.
I am a member of the Otautahi Branch of the Maori Women’s Welfare League.

I am involved with Te Whatumanawa Maoritanga o Rehua Marae and Nga Hau E Wha Marae.
I look forward to advising Youth Pathways staff and young people when required.

I’m currently working at the Ministry of Social Development but volunteering here at Youth Pathways as a youth advisor to the board of governance. I’ve had a passion for working with youth in the wider community from a very young age. I pride myself in listening, understanding and being empathetic. I’m here to make a change and connect with everyone in this team to have the best future with our youth!
